Welcome to Chess Academy Reading and Math Tutoring
A 2012 study by the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research demonstrated Chess Academy as one of the top five reading and math tutoring providers in Chicago. This is our 7th year as an SES Provider in the state of Illinois.

Chess Academy offers a complete and interactive reading and mathematics solution for students in grades 1-12. Research-based and data-driven, our innovative and successful curriculum integrates reading and math with chess as a learning tool to improve students’ problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills in the areas of logic, pattern recognition, perception, coordination, spatial relations, decision-making, and visualization.
*Chess Academy offers free chess programs to Title I Schools that have selected Chess Academy as one of their onsite Reading and Math SES tutoring providers.
